These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of cubelaw.ca, terms.cubelaw.ca, and any related subdomain, page, form, or online service operated by Cube Law Corporation (the "Firm", "we", "us") (collectively, the "Site"). They apply to every visitor, regardless of whether you ever become a client.
If you are or become a client of the Firm, your engagement is also governed by our General Terms of Engagement and our Privacy Policy. Those documents govern the lawyer-client relationship; these Website Terms govern use of the Site itself.
The current version is published at terms.cubelaw.ca/website-terms. Each version is also frozen at a permanent dated URL.
Section 01
Acceptance and Acknowledgement
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and confirm that you have read and understood them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You confirm you are at least 16 years of age, or you are accessing the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Section 02
No Lawyer-Client Relationship
Use of this Site does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and the Firm. A lawyer-client relationship is established only when the Firm has confirmed in writing that it represents you, completed its conflict check, and received the agreed retainer in trust.
This means:
- Reading content on the Site does not make you our client.
- Sending us an email, completing a contact form, or leaving a voicemail does not make you our client.
- Information you transmit to us before formal engagement may not be subject to solicitor-client privilege.
Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information until we have confirmed in writing that we represent you.
Section 03
Information, Not Legal Advice
Content on the Site โ including articles, blog posts, FAQs, pricing pages, and matter descriptions โ is general legal information. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
Laws, regulations, and procedures change. Content on the Site may be incomplete or out of date. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of information found here without retaining a lawyer to advise you on your specific matter.
Section 04
Jurisdiction and Scope of Practice
The Firm is licensed to practice law in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and is regulated by the Law Society of British Columbia (lawsociety.bc.ca).
Information on the Site is intended for residents of British Columbia and, where relevant, other parts of Canada. We do not represent that content on the Site is appropriate, accurate, or applicable in any other jurisdiction. If you access the Site from outside British Columbia or Canada, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Section 05
Site Provided "As Is"
The Site is provided on an
"as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:
- the accuracy, completeness, currency, or reliability of any content on the Site;
- the availability of the Site or its uninterrupted operation;
- the absence of errors, viruses, or harmful components; or
- the suitability of the Site for any particular purpose.
Section 06
Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources (for example, Google Maps, online intake forms, payment processors, the BC Law Society, or government websites). We provide these links for convenience only.
We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and is governed by that site's terms and privacy policies.
Section 07

All content on the Site โ including text, articles, page layouts, images, graphics, logos, design elements, and the "Cube Law" name and branding โ is the property of Cube Law Corporation or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices. Any other use โ including reproduction, redistribution, modification, republication, or commercial use โ requires our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm and its lawyers, employees, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to:
- your use of, or inability to use, the Site;
- any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content;
- any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions; or
